Sunshine
Ian Brown’s first solo album “Unfinished Monkey Business” from 1998 starts up in my early millennium Sony MDR-V300 headphones… Wait… have I had these headphones since the 90s? Hmm… maybe, maybe.
So this is my new site. I had a flicker of brilliance with one of my older sites. It got a bunch of attention from css style galleries but in all honesty it didn’t feel much like me. I’m not sure anyone is like me, but I have racked my brain trying to come up with something me, something that feels right, a site that I won’t get bored of in under 1 hour.
fyi: Don’t go into the studio without having written a song if you want to make an album.
Kinda the way I felt when I pulled the curtain on this site almost a year ago. I thought that it could be a “dynamic” process, something that would just evolve and be super fantastic, a no brainer. Alas, it ended up being a train wreck after train wreck of ideas. Which is tough to say, but if you have ever had the opportunity to design for yourself with no real concern for time you might find yourself fall into the same pit.
That said, life remains magically dynamic and things have changed. I am older, and shortly I will be a father. Amazing people have entered my life and have been monumental encouragers of my work. I tip my hat to all of you, you know who you are.
So here we stand. I type as you read…. Hopefully you will be patient with me as I work through my inner demons and try to focus the site on something worth while.
The report from the interior is two thumbs up. Engines are a go, and we are prepared for our second mission.
Life is good, what can I say? But that said, something has to emerge. A product of all these years, thoughts and struggle. So, I move ahead with new clarity and a passion for exploration.
This site is currently at some percentage under 100 of functionality and new features will also soon be added. I ask you to be patient, not as patient as you have been up to this point but still patient with this site as I get all my ducks in order.
